More than 20 of the wines produced in Les Terres dels Alforins yield outstanding results in the prestigious international guide Parker, strengthening the value of the area.<\/h2>\n

Deep within the province of Valencia,the land is riddled with vineyards, where the green and red grapes fuse together in the same way that tradition entangles with the future. It is an area boasting prestigious wineries with a strong family mark. The Terres dels Alforins<\/strong> is an area with great picturesque value, as well as having a high level of viticulture, as acknowledged inthe annual guide<\/a> by Robert M. Parker<\/strong>, that consists of one of the most important quality indicators. In its latest edition, the American critic scores 24 wines of the area with an outstanding grade, which means one of the best concentrations in the world.<\/p>\n

More specifically, Parker awarded 93+ points to the red Simeta<\/strong>, making the Javier Revert wine the best valued of the area. This is followed by Maduresa (Celler del Roure<\/a>), 1771 (Bodegas Los Frailes<\/a>); Micalet (Javier Revert<\/a>) and Casa Boscaand Rafael Cambra Uno (both from Rafael Cambra<\/a>). Con 92+ points sits Safr\u00e0 and Parotet<\/strong> (Celler del Roure), as well as the FrailesRubificado. Continued by the 92 points, Casalabor (RafaCambra) and Les Alcusses (Celler del Roure).<\/p>\n

The next group, with91+ points are two Valencian wines,Los FrailesDolomitas (Los Frailes) andSensal (Javi Revert)<\/strong>. Followed by, with 91 points, Cullerot y Vermell (Celler del Roure); La MujerCaballo andSentadaSobre la Bestia (Fli.loxera& Cia<\/a>); Clausus (Javi Revert); Los FrailesCaliza (Los Frailes) andEscribanosCepas Viejas (La Vi\u00f1a<\/a>). And lastly, but still with an extraordinary rating, Blanc de Trilogia and After 3 (Los Frailes), Garnacha (Los Pinos<\/a>) y Soplo (RafaCambra) obtained 90 points<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

From these figures, the great value of the crops in the area is inferred, where any investment in wineries<\/a> predict an even better future. In Terres dels Alforins there are roughly 4,000 hectares of vineyards<\/strong>, where popular varieties such as the Monastrell, Garnatxa or Tempranillo grapes are grown, without forgetting the autochthonous Verdil or French varieties such as Merlot. The valley, which includes land of the municipalities of La Font de la Figuera, Fontanars dels Alforins and Moixent, boasts a mild orography and a very pleasant Mediterranean climate.<\/p>\n

If this wasn\u2019t enough, the wine industry has experienced an upturn during the last 30 years, on behalf of the new generations of farmers. The young people who in 2009 decided to make the the Terres dels Alforins association, are not only better informed than their ancestors, but they also opt for ecological wines to preserve the natural richness of the area.
