In Spain we have a clear reference, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vilaviniteca.es\/\">Vila Viniteca<\/a>. The work of Quim Vila, at the head of the Spanish distribution flagship, is admirable and is contributing to the world&#8217;s great wines being in many of our restaurants, a task that is always appreciated. Other major distributors are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bodeboca.com\/\">Bodeboca<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lavinia.com\/es-es\/\">Lavinia<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lavinia.com\/es-es\/\">Dec\u00e1ntalo<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.almavinosunicos.com\/\">Alma Vinos \u00danicos<\/a>. At a specific level, we have <a href=\"https:\/\/alavole.com\/\">\u00c1 la vol\u00e9<\/a>, specialized in champagne. Fortunately, these are not the only ones, since the truth is that there are more and more distributors with references other than the usual ones, as is the case of <a href=\"https:\/\/eclecticvins.com\/\">Eclectic Vins<\/a> by Daniel Monsonis. Also in Valencia, we have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.minimalwines.es\/\">Minimal Wines<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/elsvignerons.com\/\">Els Vigneron<\/a>s and <a href=\"https:\/\/beals.es\/\">Beals<\/a>. All of them will allow us to enjoy the wines of the terroir philosophy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another of the fundamental pieces of the world of wine is the figure of the sommelier, who allows us to choose the most appropriate wine with the chosen menu in a restaurant. There are true teachers, with infinite knowledge. Possibly the most iconic figure is Gerard Basset, who is the only person in the world to hold the titles of Master of Wine, Master Sommelier, Best Sommelier in the World, OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) and Wine MBA. There it is nothing, a good bouquet of titles. However, in Spain we have extraordinary professionals. Jos\u00e9 Antonio Navarrete, sommelier at Quique Dacosta&#8217;s restaurant; Alberto Redrado, in L\u2019Escaleta; Pitu Roca, at the Celler de Can Roca; David Rabasa, in Ricard Camarena; Juan Ruiz Henestrosa; Pilar Cavero; Manoli Romeralo; M\u00f3nica Fern\u00e1ndez are good examples of this. This list is another mere example because, as I mentioned at the beginning, the representation is just a small example.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Distributors and sommeliers play an essential role in promoting wine. From leading names such as Vila Viniteca, Lavinia, and Bodeboca to more specialized projects such as \u00c1 la vol\u00e9 and Minimal Wines, each one contributes to bringing great labels to consumers. At the same time, internationally renowned sommeliers such as Gerard Basset and leading names in Spain such as Jos\u00e9 Antonio Navarrete, Pitu Roca, and David Rabasa take the wine experience to a higher
