The city hosts the Mostra de Vins d’Estiu on the evenings of the 14th, 15th, and 16th July
The moment has arrived to remind the world of the prestigious Valencian wines through a public event. Mostra de Vins d’Estiu is included in the program of Gran Fira de València and will be carried out every evening on the 14th, 15th, and 16th July in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento. Gastronomy, workshops and excellent music promise a great time for all families during the event this weekend.
The event starts on Friday 14th, at 8pm, with an awards ceremony of the II Official Competition of sparkling wines, that began to gain relevance as an important date in this sector. The nights pace will be set with a classical jazz concert, some swing as well as bossa nova.
Saturday 15th will be a family outing with a complete program of children activities run by the Centro de Artesanía de la Comunitat (The Arts and Craft Community centre). Whilst starting at 8pm, there will be workshops aimed at children to learn about food issues, whilst, at the same time making arts and crafts. Without renouncing from the evening music, on this occasion, Cicco Tiñone is performing versions of international pop-rock.
This great wine event will finish on Sunday 16th, when there will also be ceramic activities for the younger children and another concert, this time lead by Mala Conciencia and centred on 80’s music. The weekend, will also be in accordance with the best brands in the Community, so that those present will know the quality of local products.
