At Rimontgó’s headquarters in Valencia, we held a blind tasting organized by Pepe Ribes that took us on a journey through Uruguay, Argentina, and Spain. It was a demanding session in which the wines of Michel Rolland and the Uco Valley put the tasters to the test and sparked an interesting debate about varieties, structure, and tasting methods.

The Adán Martín Auditorium in Santa Cruz de Tenerife hosted the second edition of the Canarias Wine Challenge 2025, a biannual event organized by La Cava de Piñero that combines wine, talent, and a passion for viticulture. Between tastings, landscapes, and great labels, the spirit of Canarian wine shone once again on an unforgettable day.

In an idyllic setting by the sea, wine took center stage in a unique ceremony: two glasses, two lives, an eternal union. Inspired by our shared passion for the world of wine, this “wine ceremony” sealed their love with a gesture as poetic as it was profound, where each sip evoked the union between heaven, earth, and the human soul.

Once again this year, Juan Luis Vanrell participated with Daniel Monsonis in the renowned Premio Vila Viniteca de Cata por Parejas. Although they did not manage to qualify for the final, the day left great sensations, wine challenges and a high-level atmosphere. Difficult wines, brave bets and a final phase with prestigious labels marked this edition, which ended with the victory of a French couple. A unique experience for wine and tasting lovers.

The Spanish Blind Tasting Championship 2023 will take place on Saturday 6 May and will be hosted by the Gramona winery in the heart of the Penedés region.
